Page Top |  | INSTALLATION REMOTE CONTROL This remote is used for setting up the television. TV and Radio tuning, start up channel, welcome message, start up volume, maximum volume are just but a few things that this unit can do which the guest remote cannot. Page Top |  | SMART LOADER An invaluable and time saving product. It takes approx an hour to set up one television with all the desired parameters. Now imagine installing all the televisions for a 120 room Hotel. It would take hours, but not with this brilliant piece of equipment. The unit stores all the information, by infra red, from one television in its memory. Point the unit at the next television and 10 seconds later all the information has been transferred. So changing any information once the sets have been installed is fast and efficient. Page Top |
 | Computer system for Information Channel We can build a basic computer system for you consisting of tower, TV card with Video out, 14" monitor, keyboard, mouse and RF modulator for direct connection to the headend aerial system. Page Top | | Information Channel Operation 
| The televisions are capable of showing computer generated information such as a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation. This could be your guest information folder but in an electronic form. The computer only needs to be basic in its specification as it will be dedicated to this function only. The onboard TV card will have a composite video and audio outuput. This output is connected to an RF Modulator (approx £50 inc vat) which turns the video signal into an RF signal that can be fed into the aerial "headend" distribution amplifier.
Each television is then tuned to this signal and designated as an Information Channel. This channel can be forced to come on first no matter what the guest presses on the TV remote control ensuring that the guest is aware that this channel is available to them. You can have as many information channels as you like, however, you will require a complete, dedicated computer system for each channel. Page Top | | | | | Rent or Buy | Hoteliers are amongst the busiest people we have met, often working very long hours. The last thing you need is to have to worry about sorting out a TV set that isn't working. If you are buying the televisions then we can arrange for a local service agent if it's not within a reasonable distance to our shops, however, they may well be busy just when you need the unit sorting out. Renting is therefore the most preferred option as we lend you at least one set as a loan, (dependent upon amount of rooms) and the call out time is extremely fast. See below rental service pledge.
With rental there are no hidden extra charges and no further costs so you can budget accordingly. Page Top | | Contract Times | Rental contract periods are either 3or 5 years with costs falling the longer the period of time you opt for. | | Rental Service Pledge | We have two engineers dedicated to looking after our hotel rental customers. If you ring prior to midday we will be on site that day. If you ring after midday we will still attempt to get there that day, if not we will be there next day. No pledge is fool proof, we don't work on Sundays and public holidays, hence the loan of a set(s) to cover for this eventuality.
What we aim to achieve however, is a fast, efficient and simple operation of keeping your hotel TV's up and running. Making your life easier, and free to concentrate on more important matters. Page Top | | | |
